We believe that every child should be able to wake up to the magic of Christmas regardless the circumstance they face. During the Holiday Season, we work closely with our foster care and hospital connections to bring Holiday Cheer and Joy into the "yuck" and uncertainty the children and teens they serve may face.
Each year, we gather and shop for organizations based upon their unique needs. In past years, we have worked with Akron Children's Hospital, Aultman Hospital, Project KARE, Pathway Caring for Children, Caring for Kids, and Rainbow Babies. Stay tuned for our 2024 list!
Although we work with organizations year-round, Christmas is still a HUGE deal around here! Check out the great ways to join forces with us to help spread contagious smiles and joy with us this Holiday Season.
Each year we partner up with Keillor's A Teddy Bear Shoppe to bring the best and cuddliest stiffed animals around!
All stuffed animals will be delivered just in time for Christmas to children at Akron Children’s Hospital and Aultman Hospital. These children may be more susceptible to certain allergens. This is why it is important to us to keep all of the furry friends as brand new as possible. Our partnership with Keillor’s help ensures that this requirement is met.
We will 100% match (up to $5k) all purchases and donations towards this initiative. You can donate in store at Keillor's or online. Click here to learn more!
Not only do we keep up on the latest trends and in-demand toys, but we also make sure that the toys are suitable for children within hospitals or foster care homes/facilities with space or allergen restrictions. You can shop directly through our Amazon Wish List, and we will make sure the toys get delivered to the kids just in time for Christmas! No need to go out to shop nor to schedule a donation drop-off.
Stay tuned for our Amazon Christmas Wish List!
You can donate directly to our organization and our Christmas Toy budget. With your monetary support, we can extend our reach during our BIGGEST shopping trip of the year: The Annual Great Walmart Takeover! Here our staff, connections, and volunteers take over a local Walmart to shop the toys most in-demand by our partner at Akron Children's Hospital.
You can donate directly to the Children's Toy Fund, Inc. via our donate page. All donations are 100% tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
We work with organizations and businesses to conduct Toy Drives and collect other NEW toys through various methods. If you want to get involved in a way not outlined above, please contact us and our Director will reach back out to discuss things further.

4,600 toys were delivered to the hospital just in time for the holiday festivities with Santa. Fox 8 News covered the delivery, see the story here.
Every year our team steps back to build a giant castle with the haul from our local Wal-mart.
Our annual holiday takeover of our local Walmart that specifically purchases an array of items for Akron Children's Hospital.
Every year, we invite staff, volunteers, board members, and community friends to "take-over" a store in our community for our largest shopping event of the year. This year, we took over wal-mart with over 30 people, spent over $15,500, and purchased 1,249 items for Akron Children's Hospital.
After unbagging and sorting through 1,249 various items that our team purchased at Wal-mart for Akron Children's Hospital, we built a castle because that's the only thing that makes sense to us. Stay tuned for PART THREE - Delivery
Delivery Day at Akron Children's Hospital. This delivery included 1,249 items from Wal-Mart, 305 stuffed animals from Keillor's A Teddy Bear Shoppe - Canal Fulton, Ohio from the Bear Drive and bulk-sourced items directly from manufacturer PlayMonster Fun, local vendor Sir Troy's Toy Kingdom, local vendor The Captivating Closet. Also included were various items collected from ten Starbucks across district 1985 Akron East. All in all, we sent 3,715 items to the hospital's doors.
The ACH child life specialists will choose items catered to each child's interests and wrap them in time for Santa to hand-deliver them for Christmas. It is our privilege to be able to do this year-round for organizations across Northeast Ohio. Thank you for your continued support which makes all of this possible!
